Terms of Service
Welcome to clickboom.co.uk! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, services, and products provided by Clickboom Web Design (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By engaging with our services, you agree to these Terms. We are committed to delivering exceptional value through custom web design, development, hosting, and support. Our goal is to make the process straightforward, reliable, and tailored to your needs while ensuring a fair and transparent relationship.
If you have any questions, please contact us at support@clickboom.co.uk. These Terms were last updated on 23/09/2025.
1. Our Services
Clickboom Web Design provides a range of web-related services, including but not limited to:
- Custom web design and development.
- Secure hosting and ongoing maintenance.
- Advanced solutions such as e-commerce setups, booking systems, API integrations, and AI features.
- Technical SEO setup, Google Analytics integration, and other essentials.
All services are crafted in Wales with a focus on local quality and simplicity. We prioritise custom solutions over templates to ensure your website aligns perfectly with your brand and business goals. While we aim to handle all work in-house, we may outsource specific tasks as a last resort to meet project requirements.
We strive to complete projects efficiently, typically within 2-3 weeks for standard sites, with regular updates. However, timelines may vary due to unforeseen circumstances such as technical issues, client delays, or external factors. We will always communicate promptly and work diligently to deliver on time.
2. Pricing and Payments
Our pricing is transparent and designed to offer the best value. We provide options for upfront payments or monthly subscriptions, with no hidden fees. Details are available on our pricing page. Please see our Pricing page to learn more.
Add-ons, such as additional pages or premium features (e.g., custom animations or integrations), are priced based on a quote we provide in advance. We will discuss and agree on costs via email or in writing before proceeding. We do not include or fund extravagant features (e.g., premium domains or high-cost subscriptions) unless explicitly agreed, but we aim to bundle as much value as possible into our packages.
Payments must be made on time via approved methods. Late payments may result in service suspension, including temporary deactivation of your website, until resolved.
3. Subscriptions and Cancellations
Our flexible subscription options make it easy to get a high-quality, custom website without large upfront costs. We offer two main paths: a convenient monthly plan or a one-time upfront payment. Whichever you choose, we’re committed to delivering exceptional value and support, so you stay with us because you love the service.
Monthly Subscription (£99 per month): This bundles your custom web design (valued at £1,400) with secure hosting, ongoing maintenance, and updates—all for one affordable monthly fee. Payments are rolling and start immediately upon signup, with no hidden charges.
Path to Ownership: After 12 months of continuous payments, you automatically own the website fully, including source code and files. At this point, your fee drops to £70 per month for continued hosting and maintenance, or you can request a smooth transfer to another provider at no extra cost—we’ll provide everything you need for an easy handover.
Accelerate Ownership Anytime: Want full ownership sooner? Simply pay the remaining balance to reach £1,400 total. Once paid, you’ll own the site outright and can transfer it whenever you’re ready.
Flexible Cancellation: You can cancel anytime with 30 days’ notice. We’ll process one final payment for the current month, and services (like hosting) will end gracefully. If you’ve reached ownership (via 12 months or accelerated payment), we’ll help with the transfer. Otherwise, we’ll deactivate the site but retain files to ensure fair value for our upfront work.
Upfront Payment Option: Pay the full design value upfront, and you’ll receive immediate ownership, including source code and files. Add optional hosting and maintenance (billed separately). This is ideal if you want total control right away without a subscription commitment.
We designed these options to keep things affordable and straightforward, focusing on building long-term partnerships. For white-label services or custom arrangements, contact us for tailored terms. If you have questions about payments, ownership, or cancellations, we’re here to help—just email info@clickboom.co.uk.
4. Refunds and Guarantees
We stand behind our work and aim for your complete satisfaction. If you are unhappy with the initial design mockup before development begins, we will provide a full refund.
Once development starts, we have no obligation to issue refunds, as significant resources are invested. However, we will work collaboratively to address concerns and ensure the final product meets expectations.
For bug fixes or minor adjustments post-launch, we typically handle them as part of our ongoing support at no extra cost, honoring our commitments. You must notify us of any such issues within 30 days of launch for them to be covered under this policy. If fixes require substantial additional work or resources, we reserve the right to charge extra, but we will discuss and agree on this beforehand.
5. Client Responsibilities
To deliver the best results, we rely on your cooperation:
- Provide accurate information, content, images, and materials promptly.
- Ensure all provided content (e.g., text, images, logos) is owned by you or you have legal rights to use it. We may request proof of ownership or licensing if needed. You agree to indemnify and hold Clickboom Web Design harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising from your content, including intellectual property infringement or other violations.
- Help maintain backups of your website and data. We manage daily backups through our trusted hosting partner (20i) and will provide access or restores upon request at no extra cost, but we recommend you keep independent copies for added security.
- Comply with all applicable laws and not use our services for illegal, inappropriate, or offensive purposes.
- You agree not to use our services to create websites for resale, white-labeling, or on behalf of third parties without our express written permission.
If you provide content that infringes on third-party rights or is deemed inappropriate by us (e.g., offensive, illegal, or harmful), we’ll notify you and work to resolve it collaboratively. As a last resort, we may remove it or suspend/terminate services without refund.
6. Intellectual Property and White-Label Services
We handle intellectual property to ensure a fair and smooth experience. Ownership of the final website design and code transfers to you once you’ve reached the ownership threshold outlined in Section 3 (e.g., after 12 months of subscription payments, accelerated payment to £1,400, or upfront payment). This excludes any proprietary tools, APIs, or third-party elements we own (e.g., ACF API keys, reCAPTCHA keys, Clickboom Plugins), which we can help replace or license if needed during transfer.
Until ownership transfers, the site is managed as part of our bundled service to deliver ongoing value. We’ll provide access to the source code upon request once the threshold is met, making transfers easy. For white-label services, we’ll provide seamless integration—details will be outlined in your custom agreement.
We retain rights to any custom tools or frameworks developed by us unless otherwise agreed. You grant us a non-exclusive license to use your content for the purpose of providing services.
7. SEO and Performance Disclaimers
We include technical SEO foundations (e.g., placeholders, meta tags, and site structure) to support your search engine visibility. However, we do not guarantee specific search rankings or results, as these depend on factors beyond our control like algorithms, competition, and content quality. You are responsible for adding and optimising SEO content post-launch.
8. Limitations of Liability
While we provide reliable services, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clickboom Web Design shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service in question, except where such limitations are prohibited by law (e.g., in cases of death or personal injury caused by our negligence). We are not responsible for issues arising from third-party services, client modifications, or external events.
9. Termination and Suspension
We may suspend or terminate services with at least 14 days’ written notice if payments are not received, you breach these Terms, or we deem your content or use inappropriate (e.g., illegal, harmful, or in violation of applicable laws). We’ll always aim to resolve issues collaboratively before taking action. Upon termination, you must pay any outstanding fees. We may also deactivate your website for non-payment or violations.
10. Data Protection and Privacy
We comply with UK data protection laws, including GDPR. Your data is handled securely, and we only collect what’s necessary for service delivery. For details, see our Privacy Policy https://clickboom.co.uk/privacy-policy.
11. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, cyber-attacks, or supply chain disruptions.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of our services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the changes.
